As Energy Services Manager for MPD Electric Cooperative and MDT, J.P. oversees programs including MDT’s Generac generator program as well as MPD’s ERC Loans, and Energy Audits.

Through Generac generators, MDT offers customers throughout the United States a whole-house generator back up system for their home or small business.

The ERC loan program is an Energy Resource Conservation loan that helps co-op members finance energy saving projects to their home or small business. These projects may include insulation, storm windows, attic ventilation, high efficiency heat pumps, and more.

Through energy audits, J.P. and his team help determine how energy efficient one’s home or business is and provide suggestions on how they may become more energy efficient.

Prior to this role, J.P. worked as a lineman for the co-op and in customer service for a local bank, making him proficient in both the energy industry and customer service. J.P.’s dedication to lending a helping hand and finding solutions to various situations make him an invaluable member of the MDT Team, as evidenced by being theonly MPD/MDT employee to win “Employee of the Year” twice.
