Emily has served as in-house counsel for four years, managing MDT’s legal matters and providing strategic guidance. She reviews and drafts contracts, addresses regulatory and compliance matters, and advises on risk management.

Emily also drafts and negotiates real estate documents, including easements, leases, and purchase and sale agreements, to help move key projects forward smoothly and efficiently.

Before joining the MDT team, Emily worked as a corporate and commercial litigation attorney, giving her insight into the diversity of legal matters companies face and experience in supporting business goals through practical and creative solutions.

Emily holds two undergraduate degrees from the College of Charleston in Political Science and Communication, and a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law. She was named Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch” in Commercial Litigation for 2021–2022.
