Spartanburg, SC – August 17, 2021 – Marlboro Development Team, Inc. (MDT) is pleased to announce the commencement of a long-term lease for a 65,344 square foot manufacturing facility with RMC Advanced Technologies Inc. (RMC). The facility, located at 1400 Burris Road in Newton, NC, was acquired via a sale-leaseback between RMC and MDT.
RMC, a subsidiary of NanoXplore Inc. (NanoXplore) headquartered in Montreal, Canada, is an international manufacturer of graphene-enhanced plastics and composite products for industrial and transportation markets. The Catawba County facility will serve as the U.S. headquarters for RMC and produce body and hood components for major North American truck and bus manufacturers. As part of the transaction, significant real property improvements are being performed which will aid in the functionality of the property and the company’s growth. RMC was represented by the Newmark Group on this transaction.
